Salman Rushdie is the author of 11 novels, including The Satanic Verses and the Man Booker Prize-winning Midnight’s Children, as well as a book of stories and four works of non-fiction. Rushdie is a former president of the PEN American Centre, the recipient of countless awards and his books have been translated into over 40 languages.
