Want to write, but don’t know where to start? Finished a story and don’t know what to do next? Want to get published, but don’t know how?
Gwynn Scheltema can show you how. The award-winning writer and dynamic writing instructor is offering a five-week introduction to writing at Peterborough Public Library from March 14 to April 11.
Ms. Scheltema launches beginning writers on their writing journey with fun, hands-on exercises and take-home assignments. Participants will explore the basics elements of fiction and non-fiction. They’ll find out where to begin, how to keep getting better, and how to find markets for their finished pieces.
The course runs Mondays from 6:30 pm to 9 pm, beginning March 14, 2011. The Peterborough Public Library is located at 345 Almer Street N. The price for the course is $115. Members of approved writers’ associations are entitled to a $10 discount.
