The Tree Reading Series presents poet Pearl Pirie. Pearl is hosting a free workshop on Haiku as a concept form, not a syllabic form. E. Alex Pierce is the featured reader for the Open Mic. The event starts at 6:45 p.m. and the readings begin at 8 p.m.
E. Alex Pierce lives in East Sable River, Nova Scotia. She taught creative writing (playwriting and poetry) at Cape Breton University. She is currently the Series Editor for the CBU Press publication, The Essential Cape Breton Library. Pearl is an editor for Tree Press and phafours chapbooks.
