Join the Tree Reading Series for a poetry workshop with recently crowned Governor General's Award Winner Phil Hall, followed by a talk on contemporary poetics by Shane Rhodes, one of Ottawa's edgiest poets. Following the talk, the mike is open to you, the audience: with prizes! Bring your favorite poem along — we know you have one — and give it an airing! This is the last Tree reading of 2011: the Christmas Tree, as it were. Come on out and celebrate the year!
