Start the evening with a workshop hosted by Mark Goldstein: Homophonic Transtranslation :
"Soundsense, cut up, combing, homolinguistic translation, etc. We will read and discuss a specific parcel of work written in a foreign language – we will also work through transtranslating a poem into English. This workshop is about play. NOTE: participants need NOT be multilingual to participate in this course (in fact, it’s preferred…)."
At 8pm, join us for an evening of open mic and poetry by two featured authors Linda Besner - Journalist and poet, author of the acclaimed book of poetry, The Id Kid and Mark Goldstein - author of three books of poetry published by BookThug.
