The Ottawa Writers Festival presents Bernie Finkelstein, the author of True North: A Life Inside the Music Business.

Bernie founded True North Records, Canada's oldest and longest running indie record label. He also founded The Finkelstein Management Company. The label has sold more than 40 gold and platinum records with more than 40 Junos under its belt. He's a member of the Order of Canada and was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame.
