WCDR Breakfast with Hilary McMahon and Blogging Workshop with Noelle Bickle

The Writers’ Community of Durham Region breakfast meeting on January 14th features Hilary McMahon of Westwood Creative Artists, Canada’s largest literary agency. Hilary will be giving a talk and sharing her wealth of knowledge about publishing.

Pre-registration is required, and the deadline for registering is 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11th. The January 14th meeting will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Registration fees are $20 for members who pre-pay or $25 for members a the door. The non-member rate is $25 and must be paid in advance. Those interested in honing their blogging skills can stick around after the breakfast for a mini workshop titled “Break into Blogging.” The workshop is facilitated by Noelle Bickle who blogs at www.boundbytheword.wordpress.com and www.ateenagemutant.wordpress.com. Tickets for the mini workshop are $10.
