WCDR KICKS OFF FALL SCHEDULE WITH AWARD WINNING AUTHOR ALISSA YORK

The Writers’ Community of Durham Region (WCDR) is thrilled to kick off the fall season with a breakfast meeting featuring one of Canada’s most respected writers. Alissa York, author of the bestselling novel, Fauna, will be our featured speaker. Registrations are already pouring in for what promises to be an informative session as the urban, nature-loving writer shares advice on fiction writing.

Pr-registration is Required. The deadline for registration is 9:00 a.m. on September 5. Registration fees include a gourmet breakfast. Fees are $20.00 for members who pre-pay, or $25.00 at the door. The non-member rate is $25.00 and MUST be pre-paid. Tickets for the breakfast are not available at the door.
