This year The Word On The Street will take a new direction that focuses on actively engaging festival goers in all things literacy. We are moving away from the traditional exhibitor component and putting a whole new twist on the event. Throughout the downtown core we are going to program a variety of activities in various businesses for people to enjoy and be a part of. Check back soon for more information on this exciting new element of the event.

Downtown Kitchener welcomes The Word On The Street! Join us on Saturday, September 20, 2014 for a day jam packed of author readings, poetry, author talks, play writes, music and children's activities in a number of locations in downtown Kitchener.
