Words Worth Books is very happy for local wordsmith, Erin Bow. She is an outstanding poet and has just released her first young adult book, Plain Kate.

Come and celebrate with Erin at this free event! This book is suitable for older children and teens.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Erin Bow studied particle physics in university, eventually working at the CERN laboratory near Geneva, Switzerland. Lucky for us, she then decided to leave science in order to concentrate on her writing! Her poetry has won a CBC Literary Award, among others. This is her first novel with Scholastic. She lives in Kitchener, Ontario.
