Word*Up is the amazing spoken word and poetry reading series hosted in Peterborough by Cobourg Poetry Workshop (CPW) member, Rick Webster.
The format always has one featured poet whose reading is "book-ended" by regulars from the group there who sign up that evening (before) and a traditional Open Mike folks who are not necessarily regulars, newcomers, etc (after).
The featured poet for January is: Carol Anne Cherry.
No Cover Charge. Cash-only bar and cafe, with snacks and sandwiches.
