Want to fine-tune your writing skills, add richness to your characters, setting and plot, and enhance your editor’s eye? Join Writescape’s Gwynn Scheltema and Ruth E. Walker in this six-week workshop series for writers of fiction and creative non-fiction. Each week, this dynamic duo adds new and innovative techniques to your writers’ toolkit through practical and fun exercises and discussions in a supportive and engaging atmosphere. Weekly take-home writing assignments and feedback keep your creative energy going.

Registration is $125, with a discounted rate of $110 for members of recognized writing organizations (WCDR, WCYR, SOH, PWAC, etc. and Trent U students/staff.) Preregistration is required.

The course runs Mondays, January 23 to March 5, 2012 (no class Feb 20) from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
