The YMCA of Chatham-Kent will celebrate Peace Week with the awarding of the peace medallion to Bryan
and Shannon Prince who have worked tirelessly telling the story of the Underground Railroad and of
those once enslaved, who sought freedom in Canada. It is for their commitment to sharing the story
and messages of the Underground Railroad, that Bryan and Shannon Prince are being honoured as this
year’s YMCA Peace Medallion recipients.
