It's time to enter Poetry London’s Third Annual Poetry Contest! The 2010/11 Poetry London Reading Series invites entries from all London poets and emerging poets. Poetry London Workshop participants are also eligible to enter. Awards of $200 and $100 will be given to the first and second place poems respectively.
This year’s poetry contest judge is award-winning Vancouver poet Evelyn Lau.
Contest rules: One poem per person; poems must be unpublished with a maximum length of 60 lines. Entrants’ anonymity is preserved throughout the judging, so contact information should appear on a separate page. Please include your name, address, phone number, and email address.
If you are not a London resident but have attended the Poetry London workshops, please indicate this on your submission. Entries will not be returned.
The two winners will be invited to read their poems at the April 6, 2011 Poetry London reading, featuring Evelyn Lau and Julie Berry. Winners will be notified at least two weeks prior to the April 6 reading.
