Stewart Cole, author of the forthcoming poetry collection Questions in Bed (Goose Lane Editions), has started a new blog called The Urge, which has the Canadian literary community abuzz. In his introductory post, Cole writes, “As a poet and avid reader of our poetry, I have started The Urge as a forum in which to express, in detail, my considered engagement with a single book per month—a book from the current poetry-publishing season....”
We’re looking forward to reading Cole’s first review, which will be posted on July 11th (tomorrow!). The review will be of Chaser (House of Anansi) by Erin Knight, Open Book: Ontario’s Contributing Editor. Be sure to check it out.
