Broken Pencil is seeking book reviews of small press fiction and non fiction, graphic novels, hell even poetry books for the upcoming big and exciting 50th issue. What is a "retro review"? How about Lenny Bruce Is Dead by Jonathan Goldstein? Lurvy by Hal Niedzviecki? Wishbook by Derek McCormack? An early RM Vaughan title? Sonja Ahlers's Temper Temper? How about Emily Schultz's first fiction book? How about a Daniel Jones book? Or Matthew Remski? Christian Bok? Michael Holmes? Matthew Firth? Jason Camlot? Jon Paul Fiorentino? Margaret Christakos? The review needs to be as yet unpublished, at least 450 words and must be written about a book from the past. Deadline is November 24th 2010. For more information on review opportunities, please email Nathaniel G. Moore at assisteditor@brokenpencil.com
