From the good people at Unlimited Editions:

The first-ever collaborative novel has been written...except for the final chapter.

You now have the opportunity to write that chapter.

Marjorie Anderson and Deborah Schnitzer, the editor and a contributor from the national best-selling Dropped Threads anthologies, teamed up with renowned authors Gail Anderson-Dargatz and Jack Hodgins to offer writers in Canada and abroad the opportunity to collaborate with them on a first-ever collective novel.

From the submissions that poured in, ten chapters were selected and writers from across Canada and from two European countries joined the collaborative team to create a Novel-in-Progress, entitled At the Edge.

The novel hinges on a tragic incident that happens to one person at a university campus in the downtown area of an unspecified Canadian city. Each of the chapters of the Novel-in-Progress deals with circumstances in the life of one of the characters present at the university at the exact time and place of the incident.

Only the final chapter will reveal which of the characters was the unlucky one on that day and will deal with the aftermath of the tragedy.
