Congratulations to Jeffrey Round, winner of the 2013 Lambda Literary Award in the Gay Mystery category. He was awarded this honour for his thriller Lake on the Mountain, published last year by Dundurn Press. The Lamda Awards (or "Lammy's," as they are affectionately known) "celebrate the best lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender books of the year and affirm that LGBT stories are part of the literature of the world.” The awards were presented at a gala event in New York City earlier this month. This is the second time that Dundurn Press has taken home a Lamda Award: Farzana Doctor's Six Metres of Pavement won last year in the Best Lesbian Fiction category.
