We are delighted to announce that Edward Carson has joined Open Book's team of regular contributors. In honour of National Poetry Month, Edward started his Virtual Sonnets project on Open Book on April 1st. The project is "a call to discover what emerges when many hearts and minds come together." Edward wants to collaborate with you, Open Book readers, to write sonnets. The first sonnet is underway. Read the beginning of "Spring," and then post your two lines.
