Last night marked the first in a series of readings hosted by the Queen's University English Department's writer in residence, Stuart Ross. The October 4th readings were by Elyse Friedman (Long Story Short, Anansi), Jeff Latosik (Tiny, Frantic, Stronger, Insomniac Press) and Jennifer Londry (After the Words, Hagios Press).

The next event in the series is on October 18th and features Lily Hoang (a Kingston-based fictioneer), Paul Dutton (novelist and sound poet) and Jason Camlot (poet). The series takes place at the Queen's Grad Club, which is at the corner of Union and Barrie in Kingston.
