Tonight, the 75th Governor General's Literary Awards will take place at 6pm in Ottawa at Rideau Hall. The Governor General's Literary Awards are the oldest awards in Canada for both English- and French-language literature. The prestigious awards are administered by the Canada Council for the Arts. A winner in both languages is selected from the categories of fiction, poetry, drama, non-fiction, children's literature (text and illustration) and translation.
