The Canada Council for the Arts has announced the finalists for the 2011 Governor General's Literary Awards. Congratulations to the 68 finalists!

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the national book award. You can celebrate the anniversary with the GG Top Reads app. Go to the Facebook page, select your favourite GG-winning books and post them on your GG Top Reads bookshelf on your Facebook profile.

In celebration of the anniversary, Indigo Books & Music is giving away a trip to Ottawa to attend the Governor General Literary Award's ceremony. Full details will be available on October 17th.

And there's more! CBC/Radio-Canada is offering a chance to win GG books or a Sony e-Reader on CBC Books and on Radio-Canada’s Zone d’écriture. Good luck/bonne chance !
