Kobo has kindly donated some of their new Wireless eReaders to this year's Indie Writers' Deathmatch, and this great new prize only ups the ante. The Grand Prize winner now receives publication in the mag, $300 cash money, a Broken Pencil prize pack also worth $300 AND a new Kobo Wireless eReader.

PLUS, this year’s winner will have their story electronically published and available for sale on www.KoboBooks.com as Featured Author. Kobo is a global eReading service with users in over 200 countries worldwide. Kobo’s store offers over 2.2 million books, newspapers and magazines, and millions of free titles available to download and read for free. Kobo also offers FREE eReading applications for the most devices, which provide the ability to browse, search, buy and read eBooks anytime, anyplace.

The three semi-finalists ALSO get a new Kobo Wireless eReader, as well as $100 and publication in the Spring 2011 issue of Broken Pencil (#51).

And don't forget that indie bands like Still Life Still, Hot Panda, Puggy Hammer and Tomboyfriend are all going to be providing the official anthems to Deathmatch during the contest. What does that mean? Your story will have a great kick-ass song that people can listen to whilst they decide on whether or not your story makes it to the next round.

Entry fee is 20 dollars and includes a one-year subscription to Broken Pencil. Deadline for submission is December 31, 2010.
