Mary-Louise Gay's internationally best-selling children's books series Stella and Sam (Groundwood Books) has been adapted for television by Astral's Playhouse Disney, which has also created an interactive Stella and Sam website for kids. The show premiered on January 9th and runs on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Because young readers can't get enough of Stella and Sam, Groundwood Books is releasing new editions of Good Morning, Sam and Good Night, Sam in February 2011, followed by When Stella Was Very, Very Small and What Are You Doing, Sam? in August.
