Congratulations to Dundurn Press! The Wilson Institute at McMaster University has awarded Dundurn the Wilson Prize for the publisher's "long and distinguished career of publishing popular works of Canadian history." Worth $10,000, this is the first year for the Wilson Prize. The prize is named after L.R. Wilson, co-founder of Historica. He is a chancellor of McMaster, and he funded the Wilson Institute for Canadian History and the L.R. Wilson Chair in Canadian History. The award will be presented at a ceremony at McMaster on October 27th.
