Disgrace, by J. M. Coetzee

from our friends at the Kingston WritersFest:

The Kingston WritersFest is thrilled to announce that J. M. Coetzee, author of Disgrace, two-time winner of the Man Booker Prize and recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2003, will kick off the festival this September at the International Marquee.

Coetzee is widely considered one of the greatest living writers in the English language. Kingston will be his only North American stop in a 2011 round-the-world trip. He will be joined onstage by Paul Auster, eminent American novelist, screenwriter, translator and author of Sunset Park, for an unforgettable and wide-ranging conversation on the art of literature.

Tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime event, which takes place September 22nd, will go on sale August 18th. Visit the Kingston WritersFest website for details.
