The numbers are in for the Great Canadian Reading Count! During the week of January 10th to 16th, Canadians bought or borrowed 2,714,946 books — and that doesn't include the downloads to your shiny new e-reader. The count was conducted by the National Reading Campaign and its partners, and is estimated to have covered 80% of the English Canadian market and 40% of the French Canadian market.
