Our friends at Quill & Quire have reported that Michael Kenyon, Stuart Ross and Gillian Jerome have been named the winners of the 2010 ReLit Awards. The awards highlight Canadian literature that has been published by independent publishers. Kenyon was awarded the ReLit for his novel The Beautiful Children (Thistledown Press), Ross for his short story collection Buying Cigarettes for the Dog (Freehand Books) and Jerome for her poetry collection Red Nest (Nightwood Editions).
